STAR WARS ECLIPSE PLOT FULL
Star Wars Eclipse will be set in the Outer Rim, an uncharted section of the galaxy full of never-before-seen species and planets to discover. It sounds like choice will be a main factor in the game as each of the playable characters will have their own morality, personality, motivations, and will impact each other and the story at large. Carrying through the trailer is a group of strange aliens beating giant drums which seemingly awaken a figure who is seen rising out of black slime.
While we do see a handful of familiar Star Wars locations and characters (including Yoda in the Jedi Council Chamber), much of the Star Wars Eclipse trailer is brand new. Peter Mayhew’s wife describes the heartbreak of seeing the Chewbacca actor’s scripts and more auctioned off Lucasfilm Games have teamed up with Quantic Dream to bring us Star Wars Eclipse, a new “ action-adventure, multiple-character branching narrative game set in the High Republic era of the iconic Star Wars galaxy.” Star Wars Eclipse is now early in development, but you can check out the cinematic trailer above. There was plenty to get excited about during yesterday’s Game Awards and I’d say that a new Star Wars video-game definitely counts.
